Mein Freiwilligendienst in Ghana

At the moment I am here for more than one month. Since the fist September I am in Ghana and since the second n Komenda.

After our arrival it was a big overflow of information for me. I´ve seen the beach, the cliff, the cape coast and the Komenda festival. I was at the tailor to let him thither something for me. We, Lois and I started the movie workshop in Ayensudo and Komenda. The AIM Seminar is over and also I started a few personal projects.
The beach and the cliff are nice places to stay, swim or just watch the waves. The festivals were very colorful, loud, and chaotic but also very interesting events with a very lot of people around.

The cloth I got, from the tailor is very nice and I am always proud to wear it.
The workshop start was also very good, Lois and I are both on the same level in teaching and our plans are quite similar.

The Everyday Living consists of washing, cleaning and cooking but ho I already mentioned there are also few personal projects. We built a shower, doorstoppers, fixed the clothes lines in front of our house and are planning on a garden at the Trainingcenter, a chicken house, a cage for our plastic rubbish and a box in the kitchen for knifes spoons and forks.

My behavior is all in all very stable. On the one handside there are a lot of nice experiences and good mood days. But on the other handside after over one month I start to miss my home and especially my family and my friends.

I think that´s the normal going of the Behavior Parable of the voluntary service and I hope a lot of good mood days will come.
